Water district board to take up California WaterFix May 8

The board of the Santa Clara Valley Water District opted to take up a decision on whether to participate in the state’s WaterFix project on Tuesday, May 8 at 9:30 a.m.

The board made the decision Wednesday at a special meeting after five hours of discussion. The meeting is open to the public and will take place in the board room at the water district’s headquarters at 5700 Almaden Expressway in San Jose. Attend to learn more and give input.

  1. Have all the studies been done exhaustively on the benefit of 2 tunnels running under the delta. Seems like we are tampering to much with our original blueprint for the delta system!I say no.let Southern California learn how to conserve more water .they are way overbuilt. More homes more people means more water on a fixed limited amount of rainfall for our beautiful state. No more control from southern calif.water grab!
