The amount of disposable food and drink packaging that ends up in waterways wreaks havoc on our ecosystem.Trash in our local creeks and streams flows to the ocean, having an impact on a much larger region than our county. Minimizing one-time use packaging is the beginning of a long-term solution.
The Clean Water Fund is hosting a free community workshop on methods and messages to engage others in reducing single-use packaging. Workshop participants will receive CFW’s toolkit and outreach materials to support year-round public education and outreach efforts.
