Lose the lawn for less

Our City Forest, a non-profit dedicated to a healthy and green Silicon Valley, wants to help qualified Santa Clara County property owners ditch their thirsty turf for drought-tolerant gardens.

The program provides subsidized on-site assessments, landscape design, planting, and irrigation installation.

To qualify, eligible applicants must meet the following requirements:

  • Is a Santa Clara County homeowner with an existing turf lawn that is at least 500 contiguous square feet (it’s ok if you’ve stopped watering your lawn, as long as the turf is still present)

And ONE of the below:

  • low-income**, OR
  • a US Veteran, OR
  • a person with a disabilityOR
  • a senior citizen (60+).
